What was done here.
I’ve always loved painting on large formats. It’s a great satisfaction to be able to work on this kind of format. Here, a cotton canvas, sewn and then covered with medium, was used to create a large-format part of a series of modules I designed in 2021. Many of the small dots on this canvas were done with a brush. A laborious and meditative work of repetition that I appreciate.
J’ai toujours aimé peindre sur de grands formats. C’est une grande satisfaction de pouvoir travailler sur ce genre de format. Ici une toile de coton, cousu puis recouverte de medium m’aura servie pour réaliser en grand format une partie d’une série de modules que j’ai dessiné en 2021. Beaucoup de petits points auront été réalisés au pinceau sur cette toile. Un travail laborieux et médidatif de répétition que j’apprécie.
